Lasith Embuldeniya made a mess of Kohli’s stumps. Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal scored 29 and 33 respectively. Hanuma Vihari who was promoted to bat at No.3 justified his selection right as he scored a half-century.
However, he didn’t last long after scoring his fifty as he was dismissed by Vishwa Fernando on 58 (5 fours). Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer added a fifty-plus stand for the fifth wicket.
