9. Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the experienced spinners in the Indian national cricket team. Although he has fallen out of favour with the national selection committee in the limited-overs formats, he is still assisting the team in red-ball cricket.

Ashwin has surpassed Harbhajan to become India’s third-highest wicket-taker. The modern-day legend has taken 419 wickets in 80 matches including 30 five-wicket hauls. Besides his prolific bowling skills, he can deliver the goods with the bat as well.

The all-rounder has slammed 5 centuries and 11 fifties in Test cricket. He is also the leading wicket-taker for India in the WTC. Ashwin took 71 wickets in 14 games. He will be licking his lips to perform against South Africa.
