Jos Buttler is arguably the most dangerous opening batter in T20I cricket at the moment. The wicketkeeper batter was out of action for a while courtesy of an injury. However, Buttler was in prime form during IPL 2022 and won the orange cap because of his unreal consistency during the competition.
Jos Buttler returned to action in the T20I series against Australia and straightaway got his form back. Opening the batting for England in the first T20I, the wicketkeeper-batter smashed 68 runs off 32 deliveries, including 4 maximums.
Jos Buttler has a career strike rate of over 144 in 97 T20Is. If he can replicate his consistency from the IPL 2022, he could lead his side to the World Cup 2022 title while emerging as the Player of the Tournament.
