Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul are gearing up for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. The two talented Indian players are destined to take Indian cricket forward. They have already chipped in with valuable contributions for Team India.

With T20 World Cup 2022 scheduled to be held in Australia later this year, both the stalwarts will be looking to use the IPL as an opportunity to recharge their batteries to get ready for the marquee event.

As far as Shreyas Iyer is concerned, he will be leading Kolkata Knight Riders in the next season. Iyer has earlier led Delhi Capitals in the IPL. Under his leadership, Delhi Capitals qualified for the playoffs in IPL 2019 season. DC made it to the finals for the first time in their history in IPL 2020 season.

Delhi Capitals lost to Mumbai Indians in the final. On the other hand, KL Rahul has led Punjab Kings in the last two seasons. Nonetheless, the franchise didn’t compete with other teams at the highest level. They ended up at the sixth place in the last two seasons of the points table.
