Sanjana Ganesan interviews her husband Jasprit Bumrah ahead of ICC WTC Final

India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been one of the crucial gears of the national team setup. Be it international or domestic arena, Bumrah has often brought the best of himself in clutch situations. He takes wickets when it mattered the most and this is what makes him one of the best pacers in the current era.

His contribution to Indian cricket and Mumbai Indians has been truly impressive. With superb bowling variations, the right-arm pacer hit the deck hard and reaped rewards. His consistent performances are there for everyone to see on the field as he often makes the ball do the talking.

Recently, he got hitched to TV presenter and anchor Sanjana Ganesan. The couple is happily married as they took to their respective social media handles to post heart-touching messages on their wedding. We all know that Sanjana had earlier interviewed Jasprit Bumrah. She has once again interviewed the pacer ahead of the WTC final.

The interview starts when the pacer enters the room apparently not aware of who the interviewer is. He was taken aback after spotting his wife Sanjana Ganesan. She asks the question: “Where have I seen you before?”

The interview started with Bumrah’s few posts on his Instagram handle and was answering the story behind the selected ones. Sharing the interview on Twitter, ICC wrote, “Playing with his sister, starring in school cricket and ‘the best day’ of his life. @SanjanaGanesan takes @Jaspritbumrah93 through some Insta Memories before the #WTC21 Final.”

When shown the candid picture of his wedding, the 27-year-old labelled it as the best day of his life. “It’s the best day of my life, it (wedding) happened recently. As you’re aware of the memories, it was the most happiest day of my life. The memory will always be there and yeah, looking forward to it,” Bumrah said.

The pacer was also shown a post in which he is holding the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. “This picture was taken after the 4th Test, I didn’t play in that match. All the youngsters stepped up, it was a memorable win, lot of happy days. We won the series in Australia, it was second straight series win, so yeah it was a memorable day,” he recalled.
