2. Glenn Phillips
Glenn Phillips was the other deserving player who did not get a single game in IPL 2024 season. He made just 5 appearances for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023 season where he scored just 39 runs to his name at an average of 7.80 and a strike rate of 177.27.
Yes it is true Glenn Phillips had a terrible campaign for Sunrisers. However, he could have been given a few chances in IPL 2024. It is because his counterpart, Aiden Markram failed to deliver the goods as a batter. SRH were adamant about not replacing Markram with Phillips in the starting XI.

3. Yash Dhull
Delhi capitals missed out on the trick of not giving an opportunity for Yash Dhull in the IPL 2024 season. It is true that Yash had a terrible campaign in IPL 2023. Having played four games last season, he could muster only 16 runs at an average of 5.3.
The Delhi-based franchise could have released the youngster but instead retained him. However, they could have used him to better effect in IPL 2024 considering that others weren’t ticking the boxes. The youngster is known for his ability to anchor the innings and bat quite aggressively as per the situation.
