Rajasthan Royals have a special admiration for the young all-rounder from Assam. They have invested a lot in Riyan Parag over the last few years and in 2022, they shelled out INR 3.8 crore to sign him.

However, Riyan Parag failed to perform as per the expectations as he scored only 183 runs in 17 matches at an average of 16.63 and a strike rate of 138.63.
