The Lucknow Super Giants signed the Punjab batter at a base price of INR 20 lakh in the auction for IPL 2022. Manan Vohra is an attacking top-order batter with a proven track record in the Indian Premier League.

However, courtesy of a settled opening pair of KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock, Manan Vohra got only two chances in the IPL 2022. The right-handed batter batted at number three and scored 19 runs in those two games at a strike rate of 172.73.

Manan Vohra didn’t play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 to get a run behind him. Furthermore, LSG have retained their opening combination as well. Hence, retaining the talented lad from Punjab came as a surprise as he could have gotten more game-time somewhere else.
