IPL 2023: 3 players Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) could target in mini-auction

Josh Phillippe has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the past but he missed the IPL 2022 courtesy of an injury. The Aussie wicketkeeper will be available in the mini-auctions for IPL 2023. He will be available at the base price of INR 75 lakh.

Kolkata Knight Riders have traded Rahmatullah Gurbaz from Gujarat Titans. However, they still need a wicketkeeper who could open the batting for them.

Josh Philippe is a natural opener and he has amassed 1735 runs in 63 BBL matches at a strike rate of 142.68. Given his price tag, he will be a great addition and in fact, he could also be the first-choice wicketkeeper ahead of Rahmatullah Gurbaz.
