The veteran Indian pacer went unsold during the Indian Premier League 2022. However, he will be available in the auctions at a base price of INR 75 lakh.

After the release of Shivam Mavi, Kolkata Knight Riders need a quality Indian pacer as the backup to Umesh Yadav. Ishant Sharma is an experienced campaigner and will be a great addition to any franchise he will join.

Ishant Sharma played 4 matches for Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022 and bagged 5 wickets at an economy rate of 6.60. The right-arm pacer would enjoy the home conditions at Eden Gardens as he has already played for KKR in the past.
