The tension was blowing the roof as Rajasthan Royals, and Kolkata Knight Riders produced one of the best games of the IPL 2022 on Monday. The pendulum was constantly swinging the whole game, and it could have gone either way till the last over. However, Rajasthan Royals managed to hold their nerves and snatched the game by seven runs in the end.

Such was the intensity of the battle between the Knight Riders and the Royals that players could also be seen losing their cool in the middle. In such an instance, pacer Prasidh Krishna gave a furious verbal send-off to the Australian batter Aaron Finch after getting him out.

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals posted a massive total of 217/5 in 20 overs, courtesy of a whirlwind century from Jos Buttler. Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer also made vital contributions to take their side beyond 200.

Chasing the target, Kolkata Knight Riders lost Sunil Narine courtesy of a runout very first ball. However, it was all uphill for the two-time champions from there. Shreyas Iyer joined Aaron Finch in the middle, and the duo bashed Rajasthan’s bowling all around the park.

Finch, in particular, was the aggressor and blasted his way to a quickfire fifty. The duo stitched a hundred-run partnership in no time and threatened to take the game away from Rajasthan Royals.

Prasidh Krishna removed Aaron Finch; got involved in a verbal spat

Searching for a wicket, skipper Sanju Samson brought back Krishna to bowl the 9th over. The pacer already took the hammering from Finch in his two-over spell at the top. He didn’t have a desirable start in his 2nd spell either, as the youngster spent 14 runs off five deliveries in the over, including two boundaries from Finch’s bat.

However, Prasidh Krishna bounced back by getting Aaron Finch on the last delivery of the over. It was a short delivery outside the off-stump, and Finch tried to use the pace to play the uppercut. However, the Aussie opener could only manage the toe-end of the bat, and he was caught easily by Karun Nair on the boundary.

Prasidh Krishna could not hold back his emotions and gave Finch a deadly stare before spitting out a few words. Aaron Finch also gave back some to the pacer before heading to the pavilion.
