Rajasthan Royals opener Devdutt Padikkal has revealed his favourite batting partner among Jos Buttler and Virat Kohli. The Inaugural season’s champions are having a decent season so far as they sit close to the playoffs qualification.

They have arguably assembled the most-balanced side in the competition as everyone is contributing to their success. However, their top order batters have been in a dominating mood as Jos Buttler is leading the batting charts in the ongoing season. Moreover, the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal, and Sanju Samson are also doing their job.

Padikkal was a part of the other Royal team, Royal Challengers Bangalore, before this season and he has been donning a new role for Rajasthan Royals at the number three. In case you don’t know, the left-handed southpaw used to open for the Reds.

Devdutt Padikkal recently opened up about his experience while playing for both teams. He also talked about how Virat Kohli made him feel special with a beautiful gesture after his maiden IPL century.

While speaking during the Red Bull’s podcast ‘Greatness starts here’ Devdutt Padikkal recalled, “The one thing that I remember pretty clearly was when Virat was being followed by a camera and he told the cameraman ‘Go to him (Devdutt). He is the main man today, and you know that still gives me goosebumps whenever I think about it.”
