IPL 2022: 5 ex-CSK players the defending champions can target in mega auction
CSK are well known for being consistent with their players.
1. Faf du Plessis
Faf du Plessis has been one of the top-notch performers for Chennai Super Kings since the last three seasons. The flamboyant cricketer has won two titles at CSK. He has been a consistent run-getter for the Super Kings and has led the batting unit by example.
Faf du Plessis finished the IPL 2021 season as the second-highest run-getter. He was only two runs behind Ruturaj Gaikwad who scored 635 runs and deservedly won the Orange Cap. Faf was one of the players who was released by CSK ahead of the mega auction.
The South African international has played 100 games in the IPL. He scored 2935 runs including 22 half-centuries. Chennai Super Kings will do their maximum best to sign the former Proteas captain to bolster their batting department.
