During the match against KCA Tuskers, KCA Eagles’ batsman Azharuddeen scored a superb half-century besides being sharp and decisive behind the stumps. The best part came when the 26-year-old gave absolutely everything to effect an acrobatic run-out to dismiss K Srinath.
The right-handed batsman hogged the limelight when he scored 137 off 54 balls against Mumbai in a Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy fixture. RCB roped in the proven local talent for INR 20 lakh at the mini IPL auction that took place in Chennai in February.
