IPL 2021: 5 unsold players who can be picked later in the tournament

Jason Behrendroff announced his arrival in the Indian Premier League he was roped in by Mumbai Indians at INR 1.5 crore in the IPL 2018 season. The left-arm fast-medium was ruled out of the season with a back injury ahead of the start of the tourney. Needless to say, the five-time IPL champions retained the Australian international for the 2019 IPL season.

The pacer made his IPL debut against three-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings in 2019. The fast bowler represented the franchise in as many as 5 games where he took 5 wickets to his name. Later, he was released by Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2020 auction. He was ruled out of IPL 2020 as he underwent back surgery in New Zealand in a bid to revive his playing career.

Jason Behrendorff registered himself at IPL 2021 auction at a base price of INR 1 crore. But he did not find any buyers in any of the slots. The left-arm pacer has played 7 games for Australia in T20Is where he took 7 wickets to his name. He is one of the players who have a chance of getting picked up by any of the IPL teams for the next season.
