The 2021 season of IPL will be making a comeback to its home soil after the 2020 edition being played in UAE due to the coronavirus pandemic. IPL 2021 season has begun the reverse counting as the first match will be taking place on 9th April between the defending champions, Mumbai Indians and the team still hunting for its first-ever IPL title, Royal Challengers Bangalore.

With the gradual influx of the players joining their respective teams, some players have left their franchise stranded with their unavailability. While some players will be fulfilling their national duties, the others are recuperating from their injuries. It has become a worrisome issue for the team management to figure out their best XI ahead of the imminent IPL 2021. Meanwhile, the teams have assembled and have begun with their preparatory camps to get off the rust from their IPL kitbags.
