“Are you attracted to me as well” – Shikhar Dhawan jokingly tries to flirt with an anchor in an interview

It is not that easy for cricketers to balance their personal and professional life as it requires quite a lot of mental resilience. Shikhar Dhawan experienced some tough times in his life of late after his divorce from his estranged wife Aesha Mukherjee, with whom he had his troubles amid an unsuccessful marriage.

Amidst the infamous troubles in the star cricketer’s personal life, his career took a trajectory for the worse. The veteran was shown the exit door by the national selectors, a long time ago, with his last international appearance for India coming against Sri Lanka in 2021.

The senior pro was expected to make the cut in India’s squad for ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 as he was particularly good at performing in ICC tournaments. Nevertheless, he was overlooked by the selectors in the marquee event, nearly putting an end to his international career.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Humans of Bombay, Shikhar Dhawan and female anchor, Karishma Mehta spoke about the law of attraction. While the topic is super interesting, Shikhar Dhawan jokingly tried to flirt with the anchor, which became a talking point.

Karishma said, “I am a huge believer, In fact, yesterday we had a manifestation workshop with PhD. in metaphysical councillors.” Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan responded, “Are you attracted to me as well?” To which, Karishma replied, “I am sure this interview is 100 percent attracted.”

The experienced cricketer opened up about the tricks and trade that he picked up from Sachin Tendulkar. “Learned dedication, the love he has for the game, and knowledge from Sachin Paaji. He used to decipher pretty easily the weight of the willow, which shows his depth of knowledge about the game. Sachin Paaji used to know how to make a bat work.. so he was involved that much. He of course taught how to build your innings and hit a century eventually,” Dhawan added.
