Watch: Waseem Muhammad makes a complete mess near the boundary rope in Abu Dhabi T10 league

The Abu Dhabi T10 league is turning out to be one of the best entertaining leagues in the present era. The tournament has by far lived up to everyone’s expectations with a wide spectrum of entertainment, thrill and joy. The 18th fixture of the T10 league was contrasting fortunes for Northern Warriors and Deccan Gladiators.

Northern Warriors are literally growing high on confidence as they secured five wins in the season. On the other side of the coin, Deccan Gladiators are languishing at the sixth position in the points table as they already lost 4 out of 5 games. Meanwhile, the Warriors need not have to worry about their progress in the tourney so far.

They lost just once in the tournament and are currently second in the points table with 10 points. Batting first, Warriors managed to post a humongous total of 143/4 in 10 overs. Rovman Powell scored an unbeaten 51 off 23 balls with the help of 4 fours and 4 sixes. Nicholas Pooran also did his best by scoring 29 off 16 balls. He smashed 3 sixes and a four.

Waseem Muhammad’s hilarious mistakes leave everyone in splits

Deccan Gladiators needed something special from their batters during the run-chase. After Sunil Narine was dismissed for a duck off Wahab Riaz’s bowling, Azam Khan took the bowling attack to the cleaners. The batsman smashed as many as 4 fours and 5 sensational sixes.

While he was looking good after scoring a beautiful half-century, he was dismissed by Fabien Allen. Azam Khan could have been dismissed earlier had it not been for Waseem Muhammad’s comedy of errors near the boundary ropes. The Northern Warriors’ opener became the laughing stock on social media after he made everyone laugh with his fielding near the ropes.

During Gladiators’ run-chase, Azam Khan was hammering every possible ball for a big shot. The right-handed batsman faced Dhananjaya Lakshan in the game and the bowler delivered the ball right in the slot. Azam Khan launched the ball over the long-on region but then Waseem Muhammad caught the ball but lost his balance instantly.

However, he realised it quickly and then threw the ball high in the air where he regained his balance only to take the catch. However, as it happened, he took the catch in his pair of hands and then inadvertently landed over the boundary rope.
