IPL newcomers Gujarat Titans (GT) started their journey with a bang as they lifted the championship trophy in their debut season itself. Many doubted the Ahemdabad-based franchise after they came out of the auction for IPL 2022. However, Hardik Pandya & co. proved the naysayers wrong by lifting the IPL championship.
They finished at the top of the league standings with 10 wins and 4 losses after 14 matches and then stormed to the final by defeating the Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier One. They later met Rajasthan Royals once again in the final but were clinical and won the IPL trophy at the very first attempt.
Gujarat Titans will now enter the IPL 2023 as the defending champions and will look to strengthen themselves as many areas in their squad need reinforcements. While the mini-auctions ahead of IPL 2023 will be the perfect opportunity for them to do so, the Titans could trade a couple of players in the trading window ahead of the auctions to begin early.

3. Gurkeerat Singh Mann
The veteran Punjab all-rounder is one of the most experienced middle-order batters in the Indian domestic circuit. Gujarat Titans shelled out INR 50 lakh for Gurkeerat Singh Mann in the auction for IPL 2022.
The right-handed batter is a decent option to have in the middle order as he can also bowl part-time off-spin bowling. However, with the rise of Sai Sudharsan and Abhinav Manohar, Gurkeerat failed to break into Gujarat Titans’ playing XI.
Gurkeerat Singh Mann’s all-round abilities could attract interest from other franchises, hence, Gujarat Giants could offload the Punjab player in the ongoing trade window ahead of the auctions for IPL 2023.
