The Aussie pacer has plenty of experience playing in the shorter format of the game. He is known for bowling at hard lengths and is a difficult customer to get away with. Furthermore, Nathan Coulter-Nile is also a handy batter lower down the order and provides a lot of solidity to the batting unit as well.
Given his credentials, Rajasthan Royals signed the Aussie quick for an amount of INR 2 crore in the auction for IPL 2022. However, in the very first game, the right-arm pacer gave away 48 runs in his spell and also got injured to miss the entire season.
It is highly unlikely that Rajasthan Royals will retain an injury-prone player for IPL 2023 and will look to reinvest the amount elsewhere.
