When he plays there aren’t many players who look as pleasing to the eyes as he does. Sanju Samson has the knack for leaving fans and pundits scratching their heads with his shot-making abilities and with his consistently inconsistent performances.
How a player like him is not consistent still remains one of the biggest cricketing mysteries. Rajasthan Royals’ skipper Sanju Samson once again broke fans’ hearts after playing a rash shot off Wanindu Hasaranga.
Rajasthan Royals are up against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 39th match of the IPL 2022 on Tuesday evening. RCB’s skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and invited the opposition to bat first. Soon his decision proved right by the bowlers as they scalped Jos Buttler early.
The Royal Challengers from Bangalore removed RR’s top three inside the powerplay, including the openers Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal. In such a situation, Rajasthan Royals needed a special effort from their skipper Sanju Samson.
The right-handed classy batter began his knock in style and smashed his way to 27 runs, including three eye-pleasing maximums. Sensing the danger, Faf du Plessis brought Samson’s foe Wanindu Hasaranga searching for a wicket. However, Samson was in good mood tonight and went on to smash the Sri Lankan for two sixes.
Sanju Samson gets out to Wanindu Hasaranga once again
