Delhi Capitals’ Director of Cricket, Sourav Ganguly paid respect to Virat Kohli after the RCB vs DC clash at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The incident became a talking point after Ganguly removed his cap before shaking his hands with Virat Kohli.
The entire scene was caught on camera and the clip received plenty of reactions from across quarters. The players, staff and other important members of both teams had customary handshake after RCB’s win over DC.
Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly and Virat Kohli can be seen shaking hands in a viral video that has circulated widely on social media. As things stand, this surely confirms that there is nothing wrong going on between the duo.

All is well between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly
After the video went viral, we can deduce that the bitter chapter between the duo has come to a close. For the unversed, there has been a rift between the duo in the past. Apparently, things have not gone well with each other and the scenes of the same were broadcast live too.
In the later part of the 2023 season, the duo reunited with a friendly handshake. Their relationship had ups and downs ever since Virat Kohli was the Indian captain. It was at that time, Sourav Ganguly served as the BCCI president.
After Virat Kohli stepped down as the T20I skipper in 2021, he was sacked as the ODI captain a few months later. This created a controversy as both of them chipping in with different opinions while addressing the reports regarding captaincy change.
