India hosted Sri Lanka for 3 T20Is and 2 Tests. Notably, the hosts were totally on a different level altogether as they won the T20I series by 3-0 and the Test series by 2-0. India wrapped up the Test series in style with yet another humongous win over the Lankans. Earlier, India won the first Test by a huge margin in Mohali.

India won the first Test by an innings and 222 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series. Talking about the pink-ball Test match in Bengaluru, India won the game by 238 runs to inflict yet another clean sweep on the visitors. Shreyas Iyer was named the man of the match for his impressive batting. The right-handed batsman scored 92 in the first innings and then he chipped in with another half-century in the second innings.
