On Saturday, in the ongoing game between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, Rohit Sharma grabbed a wonderful take in the slips to send the Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh back to the pavilion.

Mumbai Indians are up against their arch-rivals Delhi Capitals in the 69th match of the IPL 2022 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. It is a must-win game for Delhi Capitals as a win will take them to the playoffs but a loss will see them crashing out of the competition.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians will look to sign off the disappointing 2022 edition on a high with a win. Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Rishabh Pant & co. to bat first. The five-time champions earned their first wicket on the last delivery of the 3rd over as the Aussie left-arm pacer Daniel Sams removed the countryman David Warner.

Jasprit Bumrah removes Mitchell Marsh courtesy of Rohit Sharma’s brilliant low catch in the slips

After David Warner’s wicket, in-form Mitchell Marsh walked in to bat at number three. However, he could not contribute anything to Delhi Capitals’ score as the big-hitting Marsh got out for a golden duck.

The Aussie all-rounder faced fiery Jasprit Bumrah on the 2nd delivery of the 4th delivery. The Indian pacer bowled a short of the good length delivery in the corridor of the uncertainty outside the off stump. Mitchell Marsh tried to defend the ball with hard hands but it caught an outside edge and flew towards the slips.

The skipper Rohit Sharma was present at the first slip position where he grabbed an outstanding low catch to dismiss Marsh.
