Chasing 49, Canada lost early wickets and the game was dragged to the last over. When 3 runs were required off the last 6 balls, they missed out on the trick of sealing the deal. Cardoso started the final over with a dot and in the next five balls, Canada lost five wickets while taking just a single in the last ball of the game. Canada lost the game by a run.
