[WATCH] Andre Russell makes his Bollywood debut with ‘Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki’ song

Andre Russell is set to contribute his singing skills in a Hindi song.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ all-rounder surprised the cricket fraternity altogether by showcasing himself in a different avatar. The Caribbean who has been making waves in the IPL with his hard-hitting abilities is en route to stealing the spotlight once again very soon.

The 36-year-old veteran seems to be venturing on a new chapter to entertain the fans of other genre. Guess what? He has made his Bollywood debut with Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki song featuring actress Avika Gor.

The glimpses of the song featuring both the faces have spread like wildfire on the internet. It has been officially announced that the Jamaican-born cricketer will be announcing his arrival as a singer to a track composed by Palaash Muchhal.

The highly-anticipated song will go all guns blazing on May 9, Thursday presented by Voila Dig. The cricket fans are curiously waiting to witness the musical piece and take a look at the first look of the song below.

Andre Russell’s numbers in this season’s IPL

The impactful all-rounder hasn’t done enough to add a dimension to the team’s batting attack this season. However, he has been pretty good with the ball, accounting for 13 dismissals in 11 games. He has maintained a bowling average of 17.46.

On the other hand, he scored 198 runs at an average of 33 and a strike rate of 186.79 including a fifty. He is yet to unleash his fury this season. It remains to be seen how he goes about his business in the games to come.

Currently, KKR are on top of the IPL 2024 points table with 16 points. They have won 8 games and lost the remaining 3 games. The two-time IPL champions will require Russell’s all-rounder assistance as the tournament progress.
