Wasim Jaffer silences Michael Vaughan after the latter took a dig at Team India

Indian cricketers looked a bit rusty in the T20I opener against England except Shreyas Iyer who looked pretty solid right from the word go. All other players hardly turned up the ante as they were dismissed for cheap scores. Iyer played a top-notch innings as he scored 67 off 48 deliveries. His innings was laced with 8 fours and a six.

It was only because of his innings, India managed to post 124/7 in their quota of 20 overs. However, England chased the innings like a walk in the park. The English batsmen made the job look so easy as Jason Roy scored 49. Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow scored an unbeaten 24 and 26 as they steered England to an easy peasy 8-wicket win in Ahmedabad.

Nonetheless, Team India are known for making great comebacks. They have made it a habit of coming from behind and clinching the series. They turned it around in the Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia and in the home Test series against England. However, it will be interesting to see if they can turn the tide against a strong England white-ball squad.

Michael Vaughan trolls Virat Kohli & Co

Rohit Sharma has been rested for the first couple of games and the news was confirmed by Indian captain Virat Kohli at the toss. It was quite clear that India struggled with the bat without Rohit Sharma. Meanwhile, former England captain Michael Vaughan brutally trolled Team India by comparing it with Mumbai Indians.

Vaughan took to Twitter and expressed that Mumbai Indians are a better T20 team than the Indian cricket team. “The @mipaltan are a better T20 team than @BCCI !!! #JustSaying #INDvENG,” Vaughan tweet. His tweet caught the attention of former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer.

Jaffer who is known for his epic replies on Twitter entered the scene to silence Michael Vaughan. The former cricketer highlighted that unlike the England cricket team other teams are not lucky enough to field four overseas players. “Not all teams are lucky enough to play four overseas players Michael????#INDvENG,” Jaffer replied.
