Twitter reacts as Rohit Sharma leaves fans guessing with his latest Instagram post

On Thursday, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma broke the internet with his latest Instagram post hinting at his big-screen debut. The Indian skipper currently is leading the Men in Blue in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. The Indian team have had a perfect start in the competition as they already have qualified for the Super 4 after defeating Pakistan and Hong Kong, respectively. The Hitman would want the team to extend their winning run by winning the Asia Cup followed by the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma left his fans confused and guessing with a new post on Instagram. He posted a picture of himself with the caption: “Butterflies in my stomach. A debut of a kind #TrailerOut4thSept #MegaBlockbuster.” While there is no information available regarding the post and trailer, the picture received more than a million likes in a couple of hours.

There is no official information available on the Indian skipper’s announcement as fans are guessing it is a marketing and brand endorsement move. Furthermore, the former Indian skipper and the current BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly is also a part of the same project. In addition to that, popular actresses Rashmika Mandhana and Trisha Krishnan alongside comedian Kapil Sharma and popular Tamil actor Karthi also shared similar posters on their respective social media accounts.

While everyone looks forward to Rohit Sharma’s this knock, the Hitman surpassed Virat Kohli to become India’s 2nd-most successful T20I skipper with a win over Hong Kong on Wednesday. He has registered 31 victories in only 37 T20I matches as a captain. His win percentage in the shortest format stands at a staggering 83.78% at the moment. He will now be looking to surpass MS Dhoni, who has 41 wins as the Indian skipper under his belt in the T20Is.
