10. Yuzvendra Chahal
Initially, Yuzvendra Chahal fell out of the selectors’ radar for the T20 World Cup after the selection committee preferred Rahul Chahar as the latter bowls pretty quick. However, Chahal bowled really well for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021.
He played 15 games and went on to take 18 wickets for the franchise. The BCCI selection panel picked him for the T20 World Cup in the UAE but didn’t get a chance to play. However, he is likely to start against New Zealand for the T20I series.
