Born on 11th November 1985, Robin Uthappa is a former Indian cricketer who was known for his stylish batting. Hailing from Karnataka, the right-handed batter was an aggressive customer with the bat and also a handy part-time wicketkeeper.
Robin made a bright start to his career and played ODI World Cup 2007 for India. In fact, he also played a vital role in India’s title triumph in the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup during the same year.
However, Robin Uthappa soon faded away courtesy of inconsistency. Although, the right-handed batter had a stellar IPL career as he played for a number of franchises. In 2014, he won the IPL trophy with Kolkata Knight Riders and then he won it again with Chennai Super Kings in 2021.
Uthappa has now retired from international and domestic cricket alongside the IPL. He currently plays for the various T20 and T10 franchises across the globe.

Born and brought up in Bengaluru, Sheethal is a former Tennis player. She has represented India on international level in various competitions. Sheethal started playing Tennis at the very young age of 9 alongside her brother Arjun Goutham. Meanwhile, at the age of 33, she took retirement from the game.
Robin Uthappa and Sheethal are college friends; and, in fact, Sheethal used to be Robin’s senior in Jain College V V Puram. However, they became close friends courtesy of their mutual interest in sports and fitness. Soon, their close friendship grew into love and they started dating.

The duo dated for a few years before Robin Uthappa proposed to Sheethal to marry him on his 30th birthday. On 3rd March 2016, Robin Uthappa and Sheethal Goutham tied the knot in a traditional Christian wedding. Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan became the groom’s best man on the day.

The duo have two children together as their first kid was a son named Neale Nolan Uthappa born on 10th October 2017. Later, the couple had a daughter born in July 2022 named Trinity Thea Uthappa.
