RCB vs SRH Head-to-Head record in the history of IPL

SRH are leading the race against RCB so far.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have made formidable progress in terms of overall quality and performance, especially in the last three seasons of the Indian Premier League. The fact that they have made it to the playoffs in the last three seasons on the trot, goes to show that they have improved as a team to a great extent.

Now, it is just a matter of upping the ante in clutch moments to make a bid for the first title. They have been making serious attempts to win the title since the inaugural edition of the IPL. They even succeeded in making it to the finals on three occasions. However, things didn’t turn out the way they wanted to.

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad have made it to the playoffs on eight occasions in their journey. Sunrisers Hyderabad made their debut in IPL 2013 and it didn’t take them much time to get accustomed to the pace and intensity of the league. They made it to their first-ever final in IPL 2016 season.

Notably, they got the better of Royal Challengers Bangalore to win their maiden IPL title. Sunrisers Hyderabad also made it to the second IPL final in the 2018 edition. Needless to say, they surrendered at the hands of MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the final showdown. Sunrisers failed to qualify for the playoffs in the IPL 2022 season and finished eighth on the table.
