The Orange Army that was inducted into the Indian Premier League in 2013, qualified for the playoffs in their debut season. They failed to qualify for the playoffs in the IPL 2014 and IPL 2015 seasons respectively. However, they made a stellar comeback in the IPL 2016 edition.
