Harshal Patel didn’t get a game for India in the T20 World Cup 2022 as India preferred the experienced Mohammed Shami over him. However, he is likely to play the role of the death bowler in the T20I series against New Zealand.

Mohammed Siraj was in wonderful form in the ODIs against South Africa and played a vital role in the series win. He picked 5 wickets in 3 ODIs at a strike rate of 27.6 and many called for his inclusion in India’s T20 squad as well. The right-handed pacer has been picked for the New Zealand tour and he will be taking care of the new ball duties.

Arshdeep Singh made the world sit and take notice of his talents in the T20 World Cup 2022. The youngster was India’s best bowler in the tournament as he returned with 10 wickets in 6 matches. The left-arm pacer will be key with the new ball and in the death against the Kiwis.

Yuzvendra Chahal is expected to be India’s premier spinner in the T20Is against New Zealand. The absence of the veteran leggie from India’s playing XI during the T20 World Cup 2022 baffled many. He is likely to return to playing XI and will be eager to show the world what Men in Blue missed in Australia.
