All-rounders: Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar
India skipper and all-rounder Hardik Pandya will take on the role of the finisher in the team. He will also act as the fourth seamer to support the bowling unit. Hardik Pandya is coming into this series after a decently successful T20 World Cup 2022.
He was selected as the 12th man of the ICC team of the tournament. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya will also look to prove his captaincy credentials as the national selectors have already begun to draw the roadmap for the T20 World Cup 2024.
Washington Sundar is expected to play as the spin-bowling all-rounder in the side. He returned to the Indian team from an injury against South Africa in ODIs. He looked good with the ball and scalped three wickets in two games at an average of 25.
