Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was spotted singing his favourite Bollywood song ‘Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shair Hoon’ on stage at an event he recently attended. The video is currently doing rounds on the internet.

‘Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shair Hoon’ is a very popular song sung by Mukesh in Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Kabhi Kabhie’. Notably, it is the same song Dhoni used in his retirement announcement video.

MS Dhoni is likely to play IPL 2024

Surprisingly, MS Dhoni didn’t take retirement even after lifting the IPL 2023 trophy. While many thought that was an ideal moment for him to hang up his boots, the five-time champion had other plans.

Dhoni revealed that he wishes to give a gift to his fans for their unconditional support and love over the years by playing yet another season. However, the decision will be taken just before the tournament depending on how his body feels.

In a recent chat, Dhoni revealed that he is recovering well from the knee surgery he had and if everyone goes right, he will be seen in action in the next season of the cash-rich league.

“I am trying my best to play in IPL 2024, just had knee surgery, if everything goes well then definitely,” he said.

He managed to accumulate only 104 runs in 16 matches but at an astonishing strike rate of 182.46. The fans wouldn’t mind seeing him play for one more season and enjoy his presence on the field.
