The IPL is considered the most popular T20 tournament in the world of cricket, renowned for its high-quality standards and as a launchpad for young cricketers. The upcoming 16th edition will commence on March 31, 2023, with defending champions Gujarat Titans facing four-time winners Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad.

A batsman’s success in the IPL depends on their ability to find boundaries at regular intervals throughout the innings. While openers have an advantage due to powerplay restrictions, middle-order batsmen need to work harder to find gaps. This article lists the top players with the most fours in IPL history, with none of the top five six-hitters making the list.
