Talking about the Test series, Proteas won the first Test by a huge margin of 220 runs at Kingsmead, Durban. The second and final Test took place at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth and the hosts comfortably won this game too.
South Africa won the game by a massive margin of 332 runs and inflicted a 2-0 clean sweep on the visitors. South Africa posted 453 in the first innings and then restricted the visitors to 217. After that, the hosts scored 176/6 and declared the innings.
Mehidy Hasan hilariously drops a regulation catch during the second Test against South Africa
Bangladesh were skittled out for just 80 runs and lost the game by a big margin. There was something else during the game that became the major talking point on the internet. Bangladesh cricketer Mehidy Hasan had a brain fade moment as he dropped a regulation catch.
It was like Mehidy Hasan mistakenly invented a new way of dropping the catch, in what was rather hilarious. The incident happened during the second ball of South Africa’s second innings.

Proteas opener Sarel Erwee steered the ball to the gully. Meanwhile, Mehidy Hasan who was patrolling at that area remained standstill. In fact, he wasn’t really watching the ball thoroughly as he might have thought that the ball was heading towards the other direction.
As it happened, the ball went on hit his stomach. The replays in slow motion clearly showed us that Mehidy was probably watching somewhere else as the ball hit his body.
