IPL 2025: Predicted XI of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the season
Middle-order: Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh
Angkrish Raghuvanshi was roped in by the team for INR 3 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. The 20-year-old won the IPL with KKR in the previous edition. The youngster played 10 games so far, scoring 163 runs, including one half century.
The three time IPL champions recruited the services of Venkatesh Iyer for INR 23.75 crore at the IPL 2025 auction. He is a dependable all rounder and is pretty good at stabilizing the innings. Having been re-signed by KKR at the auction, Iyer is expected to go all guns blazing given his price tag. He had thrown his hat in the ring to become the new skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The 29-year-old who can handle pressure situations, scored 1326 runs at an average of 31.6, including one century and 11 half centuries. Rinku Singh failed to bring the best out of himself for KKR in the last season.
The 27 year old has become an absolute fan favorite, especially after his stunning heroics in the IPL 2023 season where he smacked 5 consecutive sixes in the last over to help KKR seal one of the iconic victories in the history of the IPL. He scored 893 runs in 46 games in the IPL at an average of 30.8 and a strike rate of 143.3, including four half centuries.
