MS Dhoni joined the training camp on Tuesday.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) recently posted a picture of MS Dhoni on their social handles, in which he can be seen in his vintage long hair look.

The former Indian skipper used to keep long hair during the initial stages of his cricketing career. However, he has donned the look again for the upcoming season, which is supposed to be his last ever.

The franchise’s post has ignited reactions from fans across the globe. They welcomed the old look and are excited to watch Dhoni back on the field after almost 10 months.

Will MS Dhoni guide CSK to yet another IPL title?

MS Dhoni will be leading the defending champions CSK this season as well. He will be aiming for a record sixth IPL trophy apart from playing some memorable knocks with the bat. He played last season with a knee injury, affecting his ability to run between the wickets.

The 42-year-old went for surgery post the tournament, which was successful. After rehabilitating for many months, it seems like the issue has been solved. However, it will be interesting to see where he decides to bat in the star-studded batting line-up of the Yellow Army.

CSK have already dealt a blow in the form of Devon Conway, who will miss the majority of the season. He suffered a finger injury and will be sidelined for a long period. In his absence, CSK can go with the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Rachin Ravindra or Moeen Ali as an opener alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad.

The five-time champions will lock horns with RCB in the season opener on 22nd March.
