Shahrukh Khan was one of the names CSK fought hard to acquire in the IPL 2023 auction. However, his former franchise Punjab Kings had the last laugh as they got him for a sum of INR 9 crore.

In 14 games, Shahrukh managed to score only 156 runs at an average of 22.29 and a strike-rate of 165.96. But it won’t be wrong to say that his best vesion is yet to come into the picture.

Released by Punjab, the hard-hitting batter is available in the auction. CSK wouldn’t mind going after him once again and finally getting him in the squad. He can be a really good option to solidify the middle-order.
