Wanindu Hasaranga will be up for grabs at the mini-auction as RCB released him. There is no denying that he is one of the finest white-ball spinners in the world at present and a true match-winner.

The Sri Lankan spinner had a mediocre season last time where he struggled to pick wickets but in the 2022 season, he ran riots by clinching 26 wickets to his name in just 16 games.

Hasaranga’s inclusion will strengthen MI’s spin department for sure. The presence of a strong base of Indian players will also allow the franchise to afford Hasaranga in the main line-up without compromising in any other department.
