CSK signed Kyle Jamieson for INR 1 crore at the IPL 2023 auction. However, he was ruled out of the following season due to a back injury. As a result, the franchise named Sisanda Magala as the replacement.

But now with a settled bowling department, the franchise might not need Jamieson’s services. CSK have better options available and wouldn’t want to waste one overseas slot on him.

Jamieson’s return to IPL looks tough at the moment as he hasn’t played international cricket for a long time. He came as a replacement for Matt Henry in New Zealand’s World Cup squad but didn’t feature in any match.
