IPL 2023: Predicted XI of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the season

    LSG were impressed in their debut IPL season.

    Marcus Stoinis is one of the most sought-after all-rounders in the shortest format. He has indeed carved out a niche for himself as one of the top assets since he can offer his work rate with his batting and bowling performances. A powerful right-handed batter and a medium pacer by trade, Marcus Stoinis was purchased by LSG for INR 9.2 crore at the IPL 2022 mega-auction in Bengaluru.

    Marcus Stoinis scored 156 runs and took 4 wickets in the last season. He was also retained by LSG ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. Overall, Stoinis has played 67 games in the IPL wherein he scored 1070 runs including four half-centuries. On the other hand, he has taken 34 wickets to his name, registering his personal best bowling figures of 4/15.

    Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya was purchased by LSG for INR 8.25 crore at IPL 2022 auction. He is one of the players who was retained by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2023 auction. Krunal Pandya operates as an all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls slow left-arm orthodox. Notably, he scored 183 runs and took 10 wickets in the previous season.
