In a shocking move, Chennai Super Kings released their old warhorse Dwayne Bravo ahead of IPL 2023. The 39-year-old has been one of the most consistent performers for the four-time champions for almost a decade now.

Even last season, when CSK struggled to get going, Dwayne Bravo was one of the few shining spots in the team. DJ was their joint-highest wicket-getter with 16 wickets in the bag at an average of 18.69.

Dwayne Bravo is still one of the best death bowlers in T20 cricket and his price tag of INR 4.4 crores was not expensive either. Many teams might go all out to sign him in the mini-auctions and hence, his release from CSK has sparked a massive debate.
