If there is a team that needs an opener, an all-rounder, and also has the financial might to pull off any signing they want with ease, that is Sunrisers Hyderabad.
With the release of Kane Williamson, SRH need an opener to partner with Abhishek Sharma at the top. Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, and Glenn Phillips are likely to form a solid middle-order for the Orange Army. Furthermore, they will have an overseas slot left which they can fill with a bowling all-rounder or an overseas pacer.
Cameron Green will also give the skipper an extra pace-bowling option to strengthen the already stacked pace attack of the SRH. Sunrisers Hyderabad have INR 42.25 crore left in their purse and it should not come as any surprise if the Aussie all-rounder is playing wearing the orange jersey during IPL 2023.
