The Royal Challengers Bangalore let go of their lead spinner Yuzvendra Chahal last season. Karn Sharma played his role for the franchise in the 2023 Indian Premier League. He had a decent season, but couldn’t make a huge impact. He took ten wickets in the seven matches this season.

The other spin bowling options for the Royal Challengers Bangalore were Wanindu Hasaranga and Michael Bracewell, who did not look much effective. Hasaranga took nine wickets in eight matches, while Bracewell picked up five wickets.

They also had Shahbaz Ahmed in the ranks, but he managed just one wicket in five games. The Royal Challengers Bangalore missed out on a good spin bowling option in the department.
