The biggest issue Rajasthan Royals faced last season faced was the lack of an all-rounder in their squad. They only had specialists and had to play with six batters and five bowlers.
They tried Jimmy Neesham from New Zealand but the Kiwi failed to perform in the limited opportunities he got. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants have released the big West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder ahead of the IPL 2023.
Rajasthan Royals are likely to go after him as he will give the skipper a solid wicket-taking option with the bowl, while he will also add a lot of firepower to their lower order alongside Ravichandran Ashwin.
