Sunrisers Hyderabad recently locked horns with Lucknow Super Giants at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. SRH captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bowl first. Lucknow Super Giants managed to post 169/7 in their quota of 20 overs.

KL Rahul led the attack by example as he chipped in with 68 off 50 balls. The skipper slammed 6 fours and a six to his name. Deepak Hooda once again played a sublime knock as he looked good for his 51 off 33 balls including 3 fours, 3 sixes.

On the contrary, Washington Sundar, T Natarajan and Romario Shepherd took 2 wickets apiece for Sunrisers Hyderabad. In response, SRH took the game till the end and ended up losing the game by a small margin of 12 runs.

Kane Williamson loses his cool after his dismissal

SRH captain Kane Williamson looked pretty solid at the crease when he came out to bat. He scored a six in the form of a scoop shot off Jason Holder and also smashed a boundary off Avesh Khan. Just as when he was looking to take the game away from LSG, he was dismissed off scoop shot.

It’s not often we see Kane Williamson showing off his emotions but this time around, the cricket fraternity caught a glimpse of him losing his cool. The incident happened during the third ball of the fourth over when SRH captain tried to play a scoop shot.

However, Avesh Khan did take the pace off the ball and as it happened, Williamson didn’t get enough elevation after he played a scoop shot. The skipper ended up getting dismissed for 16 as he was caught at short fine-leg by Andrew Tye.

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their opening game by 61 runs. After that, they lost their second game against LSG by 16 runs. They will take on Chennai Super Kings in the next game on April 9, Saturday at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai.
