IPL 2022: Arjun Tendulkar rattles Ishan Kishan with a ripping yorker in practice session

In the latest video posted by the official Mumbai Indians Twitter account, Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar could be seen delivering a scorching yorker to Ishan Kishan.

It was almost an unplayable delivery that breached the defences of Kishan. It was also a decently-paced delivery, and the left-handed batter failed to keep it out. Mumbai Indians’ Twitter account posted the video ahead of their game against the arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings.

The video caught the eyes of the fans and went viral in no time. The fans have already started to push the five-time champions to include Arjun Tendulkar in the playing 11. They want the bowling all-rounder to showcase his talent at the highest level.

In the practice session ahead of the CSK game, Arjun Tendulkar was bowling to Ishan Kishan. The fans started to speculate if young Tendulkar could make his debut for the five-time champions. While posting the video, Mumbai Indians captioned the post, “You ain’t missing the target if your name is Arjun.”

Arjun Tendulkar has been a part of the Mumbai Indians’ setup since 2021. The Blues signed him at the base price in the 2021 season. Mumbai Indians once again signed him in the mega auctions ahead of the IPL 2022 for INR 30 lakh.

Arjun has been performing decently in the state tournaments for the last couple of years, and he will hope to get some game time under his belt soon.

Mumbai Indians will search for their first win of the season

On Thursday night, the five-time champions will be up against four-time champions Chennai Super Kings. Both teams have struggled badly this season as they occupy the bottom two positions in the points table.

While Chennai Super Kings are 9th with a single win and five losses after six matches, Mumbai Indians are yet to open their account after the respective six games.
