Who would have thought we would be discussing Chennai Super Kings‘ qualification chances so early in the competition. The Super Kings are the side with the most playoffs qualification in the IPL history. However, they seem lost this season as they currently languish at the bottom of the points table with four losses in four matches.

Things will now be difficult for Chennai Super Kings from here on, but one cannot rule out their comeback just yet. CSK have a plethora of experience in their squad, and they are a team that knows how to respond amid difficult times. The Yellow Army just needs some tweaks with their approach, and they could mount a comeback.

Undoubtedly, the road to the playoffs for CSK is difficult but not an impossible one. We will take a look at three things CSK must do to qualify for the playoffs –

In the absence of Deepak Chahar, Chennai Super Kings have struggled to pick wickets with the new ball. The Yellow Army has played Tushar Deshpande and Mukesh Choudhary as the Indian pacer, but they haven’t been effective. It is time for CSK to rethink their strategy and play the youngster Rajvardhan Hangargekar in the playing 11.

The U-19 superstar bowled with the new ball during the U19 World Cup. Moreover, he also can tonk the ball towards the end. It could be a brilliant move for CSK as MS Dhoni has a knack for grooming the youngsters into superstars.
